Dave Evans, the original singer of AC/DC will fly to Perth, Western Australia from his Texas home to join the artists performing at the Bon Scott Celebration concert at the Claremont Showgrounds on February 25. Evans sang lead vocals on the first two AC/DC singles “Can I Sit Next to You Girl” and “Baby Please Don’t Go” before leaving to join Newcastle glam rockers Rabbit

Dave said “I haven't performed in Perth or Fremantle since 1974. That’s when ACDC had the hit “Can I Sit Next to You Girl” which was also voted the Australian single of the Year. He now lives in America and tours the USA and Europe with his band called the Badasses and will join the all star Party Boys to sing his tribute to Bon along with hard rockers Rose Tattoo, The Angels, Screaming Jets and Perth’s own Dave Warner, The Kill Devil Hills and The Flairz. Please note that The Spazzys will not be appearing.
