The Falls Music and Arts Festival lineup announced

It's fair to say that this year's Falls Music and Arts Festival this year in Lorne and Marion Bay, more commonly known as The Falls Festival, has gone out of it's way in 2008 to bring what can only be described as their biggest line-up in years if not biggest ever!

This Falls Festival 2008 announcement features a diverse line-up which has a heavily weighted international contingent featuring heavyweights such as Franz Ferdinand, the incredible European outfit, The Hives, those geezers known as The Kooks, Tegan and Sara, Gomez plus some well known faces in The Cat Empire, Donavon Frankenreiter, The Cat Empire and The Grates.

Also hitting the stages in Lorne and Marion Bay this new year's eve are Eli 'Paperboy' Reed and the True Loves, Faker, Soko, Jamie Liddel, TZU, Mystery Jets, Architecture in Helsinki, Atmosphere featuring Brother Ali, The Dodo's, A-Trak, Wolf and Cub, Liam Finn and The Drones with many more to come.

No word on the heavily rumoured B52s either in this announcement... who knows?

The Falls Music & Arts Festival is a three day picnic beginning on December 29th, 2008 along the beautiful coastlines of Lorne, Victoria and Marion Bay, Tasmania as it celebrates its sweet 16th birthday in Vic and its 6th year running in Tas. Featuring around 60 performers, comedians, The Falls Arts Village, films, spectacular natural amphitheatres and Free Camping.
